Where is it installed?

Perimeter Drainage Systems also known as Foundation Drainage Systems are installed below ground around the perimeter of your home. The plastic PVC piping used today has holes in it which allows groundwater to weep inside and be effectively taken away.

On older homes clay tiles or concrete tiles were used as a method of piping groundwater away.
